Learn the Differences between Pulltabs, Coinboards, Pickboards, and Seal Cards
At Alaska Indoor Sports and on our website alaskapulltabs.com, we sell Pulltabs, Coinboards, Pickboards, and Seal Cards. All four of these are types of pulltab games are used by Alaskan Charities for fundraising for thier charities. All four of these types of pulltab games involve players purchasing tickets for a chance to win prizes. Here are the basic differences between these types of pulltab games:
- Pulltabs:
- Pulltabs are small, paper tickets with perforated windows that players open to reveal symbols or numbers.
- In Alaska players purchase pulltabs for 25 cents, 50 cents, 1 dollar, jor 2 dollars per ticket. The winning combinations of symbols are printed on the ticket and the pulltab flare card. Winners are pre-determined.
- Prizes are claimed when a winning combination is revealed under the pulltab ticket windows. In Alaska prizes can only be money. Prizes cannot by Alaska Charitable Gaming Law and Charitable Gaming Regulations be merchandize.
- Coinboards:
- Coinboards are regular pulltabs but also come with a coinboard that has coins on it that the pulltab players can win in addition to paper money. Certain pulltabs will contain a winner under the windows telling the pulltab player that the player has won the right to select a coin from the coinboard. Most coins are pure silver or near pure silver and many are old historic coins.

- Pickboards:
- Pickboards are similar to coinboards, but the players with winning tickets win the right to open a "pick" on the the pickboard. Under the pick will be an amount of money the player wins.
- This type of game allows for a more interactive experience as players make choices on where to "pick."
- Coin PickBoards:
Coin Pickboards have a board with both coin winners and pick winners. These pulltab games are often called"Combo Boards".
5. Seal Cards:- Seal Cards:Seal cards are similar to Pickboards in that the seal card deal comes with a board. The board has on it "seals". Under the seals is a number or symbol. After all of the tickets are sold, the players that have "holder tickets" win money if the symbols on the holder ticket matches the symbols under the "seal".
