Charitable Gaming Newsletter - June 2019
Hello from the Charitable Gaming Group!
The purpose of this newsletter is to provide permit and license holders the resources they need to manage their gaming account. As you know, all activity related to your gaming permit or license is conducted through your Revenue Online account.
MAKING A PAYMENT THROUGH REVENUE ONLINE
Once logged in to Revenue Online, you can electronically debit your gaming checking account to pay your fee. An electronic debit is also known as an ACH debit. ACH stands for Automated Clearing House Network, which is an electronic funds transfer system. In order to initiate an ACH debit, you will need to know the routing number of your financial institution and your account number.
Routing Number
A routing number is a 9 digit code that identifies each bank and credit union in our country, and it appears on the bottom of a check. It is also public information and easily found by searching the internet.
Account Number
Your account number appears on the bottom of your check and on your statement, however the account number needed to process an electronic payment may be slightly different. For example, Alaska USA Federal Credit Union offers an Electronic Account Number Calculator at its website. Once you type in your account number and account type, the calculator will provide you with your electronic account number.
Debit Blocker
If your account has a debit block to prevent unauthorized withdrawals, and you wish to make an ACH payment, contact your bank or credit union and ask them to register the State of Alaska with company ID number 0000902050.
To make a payment in Revenue Online, click on the Pay or Make a Payment hyperlink and follow the prompts. When an image of a check appears, fill out the required fields and proceed. An ACH payment takes 2 business days to process, and it is a good idea to verify the payment cleared your account by reviewing your bank statement.
