Charitable Gaming Newsletter- December 2019

Hello from the Charitable Gaming Group!

The purpose of this newsletter is to provide permit and license holders the resources they need to manage their gaming account. As you know, all activity related to your gaming permit or license is conducted through your Revenue Online account.

WHEN DOES MY 2019 PERMIT/LICENSE EXPIRE?

All permits and licenses expires on 12/31/2019.

WHEN CAN I RENEW MY PERMIT OR LICENSE FOR 2020?

Permit and license renewals began 11/1/2019.

IS THERE A DEADLINE TO RENEW MY PERMIT/LICENSE FOR 2020?

  • Yes, if you want to conduct gaming activities beginning 1/1/2020, you must submit a complete application to renew no later than 12/15/2019.
  • No, if you do not need to game on 1/1/2020, you can renew anytime beginning 11/1/2019. Just make sure you have a current permit/license before conducting your gaming activity.
  • WHEN CAN I RENEW MY VENDOR REGISTRATION FOR 2020?

Once you have been issued your 2020 permit, you may renew your vendor registration.

WHEN CAN I RENEW MY OPERATOR CONTRACT FOR 2020?

Once you have been issued your 2020 permit, notify your operator. Once the contract is ready for your signature, you will receive a message to login to your Revenue Online account to review and sign the contract.

WHEN IS THE 2019 ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENT DUE?

Normally the deadline to file is 3/15 of each year. However, in 2020 this date falls on a Sunday, so the deadline to file the 2019 Annual Financial Statement is 3/16/2020.

WHEN CAN I FILE MY 2019 ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENT?

You can file beginning 1/1/2020 (Happy New Year!).

MAY I REQUEST A FILING EXTENSION FOR THE 2019 ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENT?

Yes, as long as you request the extension before 3/16/2020. To request a filing extension, log into Revenue Online and navigate to the Annual Financial Statement account. At the I Want To... header in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, select Request a Filing Extension. Enter an explanation for why the extension is needed and submit the request. Remember that an extension of time to file is not an extension of time to pay.
